On December 17, 2025, Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) had the honor of welcoming representatives from Shenzhen University. The distinguished representatives from Shenzhen University included Zhou Hui, Vice President; Xu Xingzhi, Executive Director of the School of Medicine; Long Wujian, Executive Dean of the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering; Pan Yanchun, Dean of the College of International Exchange; and Song Zhiyue, a representative from the Graduate School. The delegation was warmly welcomed by representatives from UNPAR’s Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Medicine, including Vice Rector for Cooperation, Alumni, Innovation, and Business,, Director of International Affairs, Partnership, and Alumni; the Manager of International Affairs; and the International Office team.
During this meeting, both institutions engaged in productive discussions regarding potential academic collaborations, particularly in the fields of engineering and medicine. Shenzhen University representatives provided insights about their institution’s facilities and academic environment while also exploring opportunities for joint initiatives, including double-degree programs, fast-track programs, potential for UNPAR alumni and faculty members to pursue further studies at Shenzhen University, and other international academic exchanges. This visit reflects UNPAR’s commitment in expanding global academic cooperation and fostering international partnerships that enhance educational and research opportunities for students and faculty alike.
