Two UNPAR Students Participated in NUNI Student Camp 2023

From 21st until 23rd November 2023, two UNPAR Students, Vincentius Prima Navali from International Relations 2020 and Aditya Barus from Public Administration 2021, participated in NUNI Student Camp 2023. Held at Hasannudin University, Makassar, this year’s event brings the theme “Cultivating Environmental Sustainability Leadership in Universities: Nurturing Tomorrow’s Eco-Conscious Changemakers.”

The event started with a lecture and discussion about themes: Exploring the Ecological Significance of Mangroves for Environmental Sustainability, Woman Empowerment in Addressing Environmental Issues and Fostering the Creative Economy, and Revitalizing Informal Settlements for Sustainable Urban Development and Environmental Resilience. Then, the event continued on the next day with a site visit. At the same time, Vincent went to Kelompok Wanita Nelayan (KWN) Fatimah Azzahra, Kecamatan Ujung Tanah to explore creative economy and woman empowerment, and Aditya went to Desa Wisata Lakkang, Kampung Lakkang, Tallo to explore about Mangroves benefit for environmental sustainability. Lastly, the event closed on 23rd November 2023 with project presentations from three different groups with three themes in front of all NUNI member University Officials.
