On Friday, July 28th, 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between P.T. Pembangunan Perumahan Persero Tbk (PT PP) and Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) at the Auditorium PPAG Building UNPAR. The MoU signing took place during the event of “Srikandi BUMN Goes to Campus: Infrastructure for Sustainability,” which aimed to establish a collaborative educational program.
The MoU signing was witnessed by hundreds of students from various universities and was conducted by Prof. Tri Basuki Joewono, Ph.D., the Rector of UNPAR, and Sinur Linda Gustina, the Director of Cooperative Strategy & Human Capital Management of PT PP.
The event was attended by Dr. Doddi Yudianto, Ph.D., the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UNPAR, Dr.rer.nat. Cecilia Nugraheni, S.T., M.T., the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Science UNPAR, Dr. Budiana Gomulia, Dra., M.Si., the Dean of the Faculty of Economics UNPAR, Dr. Thedy Yogasara, S.T., M.Eng.Sc., the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology UNPAR, University Secretary Sylvia Yazid, Ph.D., and several UNPAR alumni currently working in State-Owned Enterprises.
The areas of collaboration covered by the MoU are as follows:
- Internship opportunities for UNPAR students at PT PP Persero Tbk.
- Guest lectures where PT PP Persero Tbk can contribute to delivering courses at UNPAR.
- Field trips for UNPAR students to PT PP Persero Tbk facilities.
- Professional certification programs that PT PP Persero Tbk employees can participate in at UNPAR.
The collaboration between UNPAR and PT PP is aligned with the principles of Tridharma. It is expected to have a significant impact. This partnership also reflects the spirit of the Emancipated Learning program, which is part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy.
