On Thursday, 14 November 2024, UNPAR became the host for the monitoring and evaluation of the 2024 International Credit Transfer (ICT) Program that was attended by monitoring and evaluation officers from the Indonesian MoECRT’s Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Direktorat Belmawa Kemdikbudristek), as well as official representatives from UNPAR, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Kristen Maranatha, Institut Teknologi Bandung, and Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB attended online through Zoom). Annual monitoring and evaluation is imperative to ensure that the program is executed according to standard and to better improve the program in the future. Furthermore, since the program is supported by the Government Assistance for International Learning Program (Bantuan Pemerintah Program Pembelajaran Internasional), monitoring and evaluation provides transparency and accountability for the funds supported by the partial funding scheme.
Since 2020, UNPAR has carried out the ICT program to facilitate university students in developing their academic competencies through semester-based study abroad opportunities with two of UNPAR’s partner universities, Université Catholique de Lille and the University of Warsaw. Applicants go through a rigorous internal selection process with IO UNPAR and once selected, UNPAR will submit a proposal for a grant under the Government Assistance for International Learning Program. The government’s partial funding scheme encourages students to gain new knowledge, networking, experience, and cultural competence through interaction with foreign students and nationals abroad.
