JMU has launched its’ Incoming Exchange online application. Below is the link as well as directions that nominated students will follow to complete the registration and all required items of the application. Everything that was part of the paper application in previous years is now to be done online.
DIRECTIONS—
- Follow the link provided: Click Here
- Click APPLY NOW — “yes, I want to create a new application.”
- Select the 3rd option — “I am not a JMU student and I need to create a username and password.”
- Fill out Information — Create Account (enter the email address where your login credentials will be sent to)
- Use the “General non-JMU eID” login link within the email to return to the sign-in page (be sure to copy your temporary password)
- Select the 2nd option — “I have login credentials to this site that I received by email” (username: email / password: temp password)
- This will send you to Select Password Reset Questions (answer 1-3)
- Change your Temporary Password – Create a New Password – click change
- Fill in the Required Address (additional address is optional) — click update
- Select the Term for which you are applying* — click Apply
- Enter Applicant Parameters — click save

Your application will be considered complete when ALL of the checkboxes on the screen are marked off.
Once the oIP has verified your application the word Complete will appear to the right of your name and serve as official notification that your application is complete.
