On Friday, 30 August 2024, the Directorate of International Affairs, Partnership, and Alumni (IO UNPAR) welcomed and held an international student orientation. It started with welcoming remarks from Prof. Tri Basuki Joewono as the Rector of UNPAR and Reinard Primulando, Ph.D. as the Director of DIrectorate of International Affairs, Partnership, and Alumni. Representatives from the Directorate of Academic Affairs and the Directorate of Digitalization delivered their sessions on academic activities and the use of UNPAR’s digital facilities respectively. Afterwards, the Directorate of Business Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship gave an explanation regarding UNPAR’s Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (BIPA) program. IO UNPAR also provided general information on international student services that will help them settle in Bandung comfortably, such as insight on financial matters and tips during their stay in Indonesia. Finally, IO UNPAR’s student buddies gave the international students a campus and library tour; to ensure that they are ready to navigate UNPAR’s Ciumbuleuit classes on their own.
