On Friday, 29 November 2024, the International Relations English Club of UNPAR (IREC UNPAR) held FOREX 2024 – Far From Home: Exchange 101. FOREX is an acronym for “Foreign Exchange”, demonstrating IREC’s commitment to facilitate IR students in navigating and understanding all the student exchange opportunities in UNPAR. IO UNPAR was invited to collaborate with IREC to give a first-hand introduction on the student exchange programs available, along with providing information on the requirements that students must prepare and be aware of. Furthermore, through IO, FOREX was able to invite Khansa Athaya (University of Warsaw), Jenifer Hartanto (Nanyang Technological University), Cynthia Syukur (University of Waterloo), and Muhammad Wijaya Nur Shiddiq (Radboud University); former 2023 BUDs (Be UNPAR’s Delegation) from the IR department to share their past experiences and inspire others interested in studying abroad. IO UNPAR also invited international students to the event to network and make new friends as they participate in the social gathering and play games with the IR students.
