On Wednesday, July 10th, 2024, two KNB students had finished their master’s in UNPAR. They were Joseph Abimana (Industrial Engineering) from Rwanda and Jamal Shariff Asad Shibli (Business Administration) from Uganda. The Rector of UNPAR, Prof. Tri Basuki Joewono, Ph.D., the Director of Directorate of International Affairs, Cooperation and Alumni, Reinard Primulando, Ph.D., and the Manager of International Affairs (Annisa Paramita Wiharani, M.A.) was also present and congratulated the graduates. Last but not least, KNB’s colleagues and staff joined in celebrating the achievements of these outstanding graduates.
Jamal Sharriff Asad Shibli shared his experience at UNPAR. He said, “Getting a chance to be picked by UNPAR and scholarship has been a turning point.” He also said that studying at UNPAR for three years had given him many memorable experiences, such as meeting the best lecturers and having a warm welcome from the International Office team. Lastly, Shibli expressed his gratitude to UNPAR, which has enriched his academic journey and personal growth, and he will walk back to his country with his head up.
