On 19 November 2024, representatives from eSTEP and Baylor University, Texas, visited UNPAR to explore potential academic collaboration opportunities between Baylor University and UNPAR. Representing Baylor University in this meeting was Dr. Eduardo Contreras, Vice Provost for Global Engagement. Meanwhile, the Executive Director and Founder of eSTEP, Karl Keuroghlian, eSTEP Director Fifi Budiati, and eSTEP Education Consultant Marinda Harsono were in attendance. From UNPAR, representatives from the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education; Director of International Affairs, Partnership, and Alumni; Manager of International Affairs; and the International Office Team were also present.
The dialogue discussed various prospective avenues of cooperation between UNPAR and Baylor University. In particular, there was a strong interest in collaborating in the fields of education, business, and English studies. eSTEP, as an educational consulting service provider, is expected to facilitate the collaboration between both universities.
