Join an Exclusive Research Collaboration in Spain.

We are pleased to announce an exceptional academic opportunity under the prestigious Erasmus+ KA171 Programme. In collaboration with Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), Spain, UNPAR invites academic staff to participate in an international Joint Research Program titled:

“Understanding how Social Norms & Public Policies shape opportunities and impact results in the labor market for women: a comparative analysis?“

This joint research project, led by Dr. Ferran Mañé, Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain), explores gender disparities in the labor market through cross-country comparative research.

The project examines how differences in institutional settings, public policies, and non-economic factors such as cultural values and social norms, shape gender inequality in labor market outcomes.

Applicant Profile:

Applicants are expected to have:

  • A strong academic background in economics, sociology, public policy, or related fields.
  • Previous research experience or publications on labor market issues, gender studies, or social policy.
  • A keen interest in fostering EU–Indonesia academic collaboration and policy exchange.

Application Requirements:

Please submit the following documents:

  1. Statement of Purpose (maximum 1,000 words) explaining your research interests, alignment with the program, and expected contribution
  2. Letter of Recommendation from Prof. Ferran Mañé Vernet, Ph.D.
    Applicants are responsible for contacting Prof. Mañé independently to obtain this recommendation.
  3. Valid Passport with at least six months of validity from the planned departure date

Please note: Incomplete applications will not be considered. Selection will be based on academic excellence, research potential, and alignment with the objectives of the joint research initiative

Phase 1: October 2026 (exact dates will be confirmed with the selected participant)
Phase 2: December 2026 (exact dates will be confirmed with the selected participant)
