Bandung, 30 April 2025 – The international students participated in the Monthly Gathering. This occasion was held at Taman Hutan Raya Ir. H. Djuanda (Tahura), one of Bandung’s most iconic natural landmarks. The event offered a meaningful opportunity for the participants to explore nature, learn more about the tropical environment, and strengthen their bonds with fellow students.
The program began with a trekking activity along Tahura’s forest trails. Surrounded by fresh air, lush greenery, and the sounds of birds. The students experienced the beauty of Indonesia’s tropical landscape firsthand. They also had the chance to discover and learn about various native plants and animals, enriching their understanding of the country’s remarkable biodiversity.
In addition to exploration, the gathering highlighted the importance of environmental awareness. Participants joined an eco-action activity by collecting trash along the trails, contributing in a simple yet impactful way to preserving the forest. This activity not only emphasized collective responsibility in keeping natural spaces clean but also served as a reminder of the role everyone can play in sustainability.
The day continued with a series of bonding activities designed to encourage bonds, laughter, and meaningful interaction. These moments allowed the international students to connect more deeply with one another, creating a sense of friendship and community that will last beyond the event itself.
This Monthly Gathering was more than just a walk through the forest. It was a holistic experience of exploration, contribution, and connection. For the international students, the day at Tahura became a memorable highlight of their journey in Indonesia, blending adventure with purpose and leaving lasting impressions to cherish.
