Be Unpar’s Delegation (BUD) 2023 Event Recap

UNPAR ceremonially sent 17 BUD delegates to 18 universities in 14 countries to join the study abroad program: the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA), a bilateral program to Hanyang University ERICA campus, and a short program, the INU Student Seminar. The delegates are from the International Relations, Law, and Economics Development study program departments. This event was held on Friday, June 9th, 2023, at Ruang Rapat Besar, Rectorate Building.

Through the event, BUD delegates got to hear and understand directly from the Head Office for International Affairs and Cooperation (IO), Sylvia Yazid, Ph.D., about the roles and responsibilities UNPAR has for them. UNPAR’s Rector, Mangadar Situmorang, Ph.D., gave his congratulatory speech to the delegates. He expects the BUD delegates to make Indonesia, UNPAR, and their parents proud. The students were also invited to express their commitment to what they will do at their respective host universities. They also received a departure package from IO UNPAR. The inauguration was attended by 15 BUD delegates, parents, University officials, and staff.
