On January 24, 2025, the 4th Model ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (Model AIPA) successfully concluded as part of the International Students’ Conference (ISC) 2025, while also wrapping up the learning journey of the event.

Model AIPA, an educational simulation of the AIPA General Assembly, facilitated participants to engage in dynamic debates and discussions to develop resolutions that address issues close to the region while also related to the three sub-themes of ISC 2025- which were inclusivity, innovation and sustainability in education for all.

As the final project of ISC 2025, Model AIPA provided participants who were divided into ten groups representing State Members of ASEAN a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience in parliamentary diplomacy. Through the simulation, participants engaged in  collaborating, negotiating, and crafting policy recommendations on educational issues in the ASEAN region while utilizing critical insights that were taken from previous keynote lectures and workshops.

Closely partnering with AIPA Secretariat, ISC 2025 was also honored to host H.E. Ar. Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman, Secretary General of AIPA, who also had the opportunity to deliver a keynote lecture highlighting the role of parliamentary diplomacy in shaping inclusive education policies in Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung.

As ISC 2025 celebrates its 10th anniversary, the collaboration with the intergovernmental body reaffirmed its commitment to bridging education and policymaking, ensuring that youth voices remain central in addressing global challenges.
