Universiti of Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) visited International Office Parahyangan Catholic University (IO Unpar) on Wednesday (17/07/2019). IO team welcomed the delegates of UTHM at Rectorate Building.
The meeting is started with one city tour agenda on Tuesday (16/07/2019). The delegates visited several Bandung tourist sites such as Museum of Asian-African Conference, Alun-Alun Bandung, Grand Mosque of Bandung, Gedung Sate Museum, and enjoying the angklung performance at Saung Angklung Udjo.
This Staff Shadowing Program is one of the agendas of UTHM during ten days visit to Unpar. The meeting was attended by the Head of Cooperation Division Ratih Indraswari, S.IP,MA; Jeffri Yosep Simanjorang from Academic Administration Bureau; Kristining Seva, S.S.,M.Pd from BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing) Unpar, lecturers of UTHM Dr. Izudinshah Bin Abd Wahab; administration staff of UTHM Madam Siti Hasnah Binti Hud, as well as IO team.
In general, the topics of the meeting were “Sharing of academic management process and activities at Unpar”, “Managing and implementations of international academic and Indonesian education culture”, “In-bound and out-bound mobility of policy/procedures used by Unpar in Indonesia”, and “Other related programs/activities in conjunction with Unpar collaborations with other institutions either locally and internationally”.
Other than that, both parties also conducted sharing session regarding internationalization and discussion about the possibility of future collaboration in various fields such as student exchange program, staff mobility, as well as sandwich program for continuing master study.
Earlier, last Thursday (11/7/2019) Department of Architecture Parahyangan Catholic University (Unpar) in collaboration with UTHM held a welcoming ceremony of Architecture Summer Course Workshop 2019 at Unpar Guest House. The year of 2019 remarks one of International Office (IO) policies to strengthen international activities through providing international grants that support the implementation of Architecture Student Mobility Program 2019.
