Going abroad, either to have vacation or education is a dream for everyone. It is a plus when we do not have to pay any cost. Nowadays, there are a lot of students seeking for that golden opportunity in order to experience valuable moments out of the country.
Office for International affairs and Cooperation in Parahyangan Catholic University was held an International Office Festival as known as IO Fest on Wednesday 18th of October in Plaza Pusat Pembelajaran Arntz-Geisse (PPAG).
Institut Français d’Indonésie (IFI), Bright Indonesia, Vista Education, International Network of Universities (INU), and James Madison University filled the info session activity which held in The Meeting Room of the second floor of rectorate building. Those five institutions shared information regarding scholarship and study abroad opportunity, such as in China, Sweden, and France.
The representative of James Madison University (JMU) for International Network of Universities (INU), Jeanne Horst gave several information about the study and the exchange program in United States. She gave some tips to study in US without paying and the administrative conditions needed to be fulfilled.
Aside of that, education consultant from Bright Indonesia gave information about scholarship in Sweden for master degree. Afterwards, the scholarship opportunity in China was presented by Vista Education. Meanwhile, IFI shared the pre-requirement before continuing study to France.
Students whom are members of Be Unpar’s Delegation (BUD) filled the sharing session and opened interactive booth to deliver information regarding exchange programs and international conferences. Students from International Relations Department whom followed the exchange student program at Technische Universität Dortmund in Germany and Ewha Womans University in South Korea were the speaker for the sharing session with BUD.
IO Fest aims to provide information regarding exchange student program and encourage students to actively participate within various international activities.
